WEBOct 28, 2018 · Check you battery charger. The new raptors use an AGM battery. Similar type of battery they use on most motor cycles. Agms require a specific / slightly different charging pattern. Most newer tenders have a setting on them for different types of batteries. Hope this helps

I’m glad to get away from OEM Motorcraft as I have had a few in my 03 Cobra fail after a year or 2. Made me scared I would be stranded in the boonies in the Raptor. This is the battery I bought! 2.

WEBJul 17, 2019 · Battery Maintainer: The 2019 Raptor is my wife's so it stays local. I drive it when I can on the highway and get up to temp and keep it on a Deltran battery maintainer. My 2018 911 C4S is on a CTEK battery maintainer. I DD my 2018 M3 so there is no need for anything there.

WEBSep 8, 2024 · I had my factory battery go bad after a year so since then, I've been using a tender. I'd like to know if I can use a tender for the 2 batteries under the passenger side rear set. I don't think the tender has enough reach to charge them from the main battery but I don't know if they disconnect when the truck isnt running.

I shut the lights off and walked out, but before closing the door I noticed my accessport was physically ON and was on the screen stating it was looking for power.

WEBSep 8, 2024 · I don't have a pic handy, but there is 10mm nut/bolt on the ground cable that is pretty much right off the battery that I believe is connecting the sensor apparatus. I didn't see this until I revisited it all this morning. It's only about 1" from the negative post of the battery, and just downstream from the sensor. Perfect connection point.

I've got to run heavy cable anyway for a rear winch setup and to charge the trailer battery. I've got a spare 200W portable solar panel with a charge controller and I hope to put that on a frontrunner rack over the cab.
