Author. Posted September 4 (edited) I found some 14” lights that can be mounted with tiny screws, then they can be easily pulled off the magnets that hold them in place for usb recharging. We have an electrician friend, too. So I’ll use these (only 25.00) until we decide if or when we want to spend money to have them wired in.
Is there a wall color that will tone down the 'peachiness' of light ...
Aug 21, 2012 · We have a galley kitchen, so the lack of counter space means it won't be that expensive :001_rolleyes: and I want to add some bright color accents, which just doesn't work with the whole 'downplay the peach' thing. We are finishing our bath reno this weekend and moving straight to the kitchen. yes, we have lost our minds . . .

Mar 25, 2013 · It's pretty common for people from their generation, growing up during the depression, to do that. I remember my grandparents saving them. I think we used them as paint trays. We never got sick from it. :D Don't worry- I don't keep them! You can eat stuff from my house- I don't use kitchen containers for barf buckets, either! :lol:

Jun 30, 2023 · Wood cabinets are also currently "in" (although only certain styles & colors of wood), but a big kitchen with wood cabinets, wood beams, wood furniture, wood floor in the great room, etc., plus black countertops, could end up feeling dark and heavy. A white kitchen with wood beams and lots of wood accents would be light, bright, and classic.

Mar 23, 2017 · Next to the fridge is an ideal spot for deeper cabinets since the fridge sticks out SO much by design . . . The deeper cabinets make the fridge look more built in. Have fun!! Don't be scared to try lots of ideas. You can make a huge impact on your kitchen with a few days of effort and thought. Most builder kitchen designs are idiotic, IMHO.

Aug 15, 2021 · In the bedrooms, the furniture mostly matches (espresso in my room, white in the kids' rooms). Wood trim (windows, etc) is white throughout. Living room: end tables are hand-me-downs (mid-tone) and the tv stand is dark. Kitchen: trim is white, cabinets are teal, floor is gray tone LVP and the table is light pine.

Oct 19, 2010 · We were thinking of purchasing a black iron fixture, but the bronze actually matched. We then replaced the fixture in our living room with a bronze one. Lovely. We recently "freshened" our kitchen. We have the original, way-old-school cabinets, complete with bronze hinges and knobs. We needed to replace the faucet.

Used flat paint in bathroom. Is that a problem?
Dec 31, 2008 · Well, it's a "flat" paint and if I remember correctly it wasn't recommended for use in a bathroom or kitchen. But, "recommended" and "absolutely not" are two different things. We originally used this paint for our living room so I don't have any background on it's use in a moisture filled room like a bathroom.
