WEBSep 20, 2021 — Micro Center is the best consumer experience you will have. Period. The builds they do will be better than any prebuilt you buy because they are assembled by competent, usually actually certified techs. Powerspec builds are great foundations which get you in with solid specs at a good price point.

WEBMay 1, 2023 — The parts that I recommend getting from Microcenter are the CPU/Motherboard combo and the case if they carry it. The GPU’s, RAM, and M.2 drives are more hit or miss. If you're only an hour from Micro Center, you should absolutely buy your components there. Being able to do in-person returns is worth a lot.

Also, they will price match any like item in stock so you can’t go wrong. Plus you have the benefit of having the item right there Ave not having to wait for shipping.
