WEBAug 22, 2022 · There was adhesive attaching the ribbon cable to the battery which I scraped away with a spudger. Next, the battery seemed hopelessly stuck in the housing via a red bracket. Using a tiny screwdriver, I pryed up the bracket before attempting to dig out the battery.. I got the battery out albeit in hindsight doing what I did was probably risky.

WEBOct 19, 2023 · I am going to replace the batteries in my WF-1000XM4 earbuds soon and I'm wondering whether should I update the firmware after that. Currently, earbuds are on the 2.0.1 version. The left earbud has a short battery life (1hr), the right one's is even smaller AND heats up when charged. Don't know when the batteries were damaged.

WEBJun 21, 2021 · Yes its very easily replaceable. Just like the xm3. Watch some YT videos and you would be able to do it yourself. I saw the xm3’s, but nothing on the xm4’s. Different design, so that’s why I asked. Both are very similar. I have opened my xm4 watching xm3 videos. Battery is exact match in both models.

Yes the mAh is high, but the voltage is lower than what the new WF-1000XM4 uses, 3.85, so this battery might not last as long if you replace the Z55H.
