Fab place to visit. Really easy to get to all the main sites on the metro. Fab food and the locals were very friendly. Lovely river cruise at night. Stunning scenery.Full review by paul m

Have a question/concern about Danube Delta UNESCO Biosphere Reserve tour offered by VIking on their Danube River Cruise. Their write up “Enjoy a thrilling ride through the Danube Delta by speed boat and immerse yourself in nature” seems opposite of what you would want to do if you were going there to see the birds. Can anyone who has been on this side trip provide a review? For example, will I have to try to identify birds at 50 knots racing through the biosphere???

Hi there, honestly I have no clue what are they advertising at “Viking” , but what can tell you is that there are speed limitations for the boats inside the Danube Delta, so I guess that speed boat is just on the main navigation channel - in the rest of the area it will crawl - I guess
