It was my first time snorkelling as well. Staff provide a basic explanation and the rest once there is self explanatory. On the cruise to the pontoon there are videos on the TV’s of how to snorkel. I asked staff question just before getting in the water as they assisted positively. As you are swimming in open water that can be strong in current and is very deep, it takes about 10 minutes to get used to it and once you find your groove, you’ll be fine.

NONE They are very good if you go to the Cairns Aquarium, they have a wonderful exhibit worth spending an afternoon there.

There really isn't any way to get a buggy on the semi-submersible. We used an Ergo baby to carry our daughter on and off the semi-submersible. The glass bottom boat is …

There really isn't any way to get a buggy on the semi-submersible. We used an Ergo baby to carry our daughter on and off the semi-submersible. The glass bottom boat is more reasonable but it would be a pain to have to stow the pram all the time.

I bought the entire photo package since it was my first open water scuba diving trip since I earned my certificate. I received a flash drive with all the pictures of me including ones with my roommate in them. It also included several stock pictures that were very nice. Since I did the scuba dive and the helmet dive, there were more pictures. The more you do the more it is worth it. I also had my own water camera, but still bought the package. This once in a lifetime trip was worth the $70 photo package.
