Murtaza Syed, MD, is double-board certified in psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry. Before joining AdventHealth Medical Group’s psychiatry team in Winter Park, he spent 15-plus years as an on-staff psychiatrist in hospitals and community health centers, primarily in Michigan. A graduate of the esteemed Sind Medical College at the University of Karachi in Pakistan, Dr Syed completed his residency training at West Virginia University School of Medicine before undertaking a prestigious fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC.
