Neat museum that gives you an insight into all the cultures that make up Texas. Worth a stop if you are in the area. They are doing some renovations, so it might be worth waiting a few months before … Full review by thewanderingmeatball

Yes! Also, second Sunday of each month is free. General price is $10 for those aged 18 -64, $8 for those aged 6-18 & military with valid ID, If you have a group of 10 then it is only $4 per person. If you can plan it in June, the best time to go is during the Folklife Festival. Entrance tickets are $12, $10 if bought in advance at stores like HEB. Then you can tour the inside as well as enjoy all the festivities indoors and on the grounds. I hope this helps and I hope you get to visit. We took friends from Germany to the festival and they loved the cultural diversity represented inside as well as outside.
James B., does this mean that you will go back as far as1731 when the 16 families came from Spain who founded the villa DE San Fernando now San Antonio and who established the first.city council we all know today? Thank you Gloria

According to our exhibit researchers, Los Tejanos will go back to years before the the arrival of the Spanish. One of the things the new exhibit will discuss is the Mestizo. In fact, identity and mixed cultural heritage are big themes in this new exhibit. The Canary Islanders and the establishment of San Fernando/San Antonio are mentioned in some of the more in-depth content guests can access with a computerized timeline. - James B., ITC Communications
