Unless you have children under the age of ten do not have many expectations. It was like a version of Epcot that was already dated by the time we arrived. The lines are insane to get in because everyone thinks this is something special but the displays and interactive exhibits is like any carnival ride. I thought the whole museum was geared towards children and families not to adults looking for AI attractions. The only good thing I thought the museum offered was the Italian restaurant on the seventh floor. Now that should not be missed! Try the Pepperoni Pizza with Honey. It is mind-blowing. As for the museum, bypass it and got to the top of the Burj. That is more fun but even that does not top the top of the World Trade Center or the Empire State Building in New York City. I have done all three and this comes from experience. If you decide to go to the Museum of the Future, plan accordingly as the lines are crazy and it will only take you about an hour to walk through this museum. Plan for lunch here though.

Yes, online booking is preferred and convenient. However, you can also purchase the tickets at the entrance, but that would be based on availability on that day since the entrance is limited to a maximum number of visitors per visit / day. Hope this answers the question.
