Jauharabad is the headquarters of Khushab District in the Punjab province of Pakistan. The Urdu word 'Jauhar' translates to 'gem' in English, but the city was named in honour of the renowned Pakistani freedom activist, Maulana Mohammad Ali Jauhar.
