Shares of Apple Inc. dropped 0.97% to $207.23 Tuesday, on what proved to be an all-around favorable trading session for the stock market, with the NASDAQ Composite Index rising 1.03% to 16,366.85 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average rising 0.

Stocks closed down Monday afternoon as the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped nearly 2.7% or 1,000 points, its worst day in nearly two years. The S&P 500 Index dropped by 2.7% and the Nasdaq composite fell 3.

However, Apple had its own problems, as one of the company's biggest proponents sold a huge block of stock. It's no secret that Berkshire Hathaway CEO Warren Buffett has long been a fan of Apple stock.
