The No. 18 Ole Miss Rebels took part in their first Southeastern Conference weekend series this weekend as they fell short losing two of three games to the No. 3 Arkansas Razorbacks at Swazye Field. The Rebels captured Game 1 prior to sliding in the final two matchups of the weekend to a talented Razorbacks squad.

Mason Nichols sat down the Razorbacks in order in the first inning, capped by a strikeout looking by Kuhio Aloy. Charles Davalan also struck out to begin the game. The Razorbacks have struck out 29 times in 19 innings during this series. Arkansas and Ole Miss will get underway at 1:30 p.m. on a cool day in Oxford.
