British luxury carmaker Bentley said on Thursday it will launch its first electric car in 2026 and said it will keep selling plug-in hybrids until 2035, formally abandoning a previous goal of going fully electric by 2030.

Bentley is once again reshuffling its electrification plans, but still expects to have an all-electric lineup by 2035, the automaker announced Thursday.

Bentley only two years ago was planning to launch its first EV by the middle of the decade and follow it up with a new EV every year for the next four years, in order to become a fully electric brand by 2030.
