Costa Rican authorities have ruled out asphyxiation as the cause of death of the 14-year-old son of former New York Yankees outfielder Brett Gardner.

Costa Rica officials reversed a preliminary cause of death for the teen son of former New York Yankees star Brett Gardner, saying Miller Gardner did not die by asphyxia after eating something that made him sick.

New York Yankees player Brett Gardner's son Miller's cause of death has been ruled out as asphyxiation, as the investigation is still ongoing into his death.
