After visiting Australia, King Charles and Queen Camilla are in Samoa now, where they're experiencing tradition and culture

King Charles has taken part in a traditional ritual in Samoa, drinking the ceremonial beverage kava, made from the root of a plant. He was also declared a "high chief" of the archipelago during his trip to the country.

In the dark, dozens of people lined a narrow road near the Samoan fishing village of Siumu, gathering near a sign bearing a portrait of King Charles III and waiting excitedly for a glimpse of the real monarch.
