The Chicago Bulls have been one of the most surprisingly impressive teams in the NBA over the past month, and it is largely credited to their new star backcourt. Josh Giddey and Coby White have been incredible for Chicago recently,
“The NBA announced today that Chicago Bulls guard Coby White was named the Kia NBA Player of the Month in the East for games played in March,” the Bulls said in a press release. “White joins Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Derrick Rose, Jimmy Butler and DeMar DeRozan as the only Bulls players to earn the monthly honor.”
He’s evolved into a great player, all the way around,” Bulls coach Billy Donovan said of White, who had another huge scoring night Monday.
In the realm of stellar performances, the Oklahoma City Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Chicago Bulls' Coby White stand out as the Kia NBA Players of the Month for the Western and Eastern Conferences, respectively.
White registered 28 points (10-16 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 5-5 FT), three rebounds, six assists and two steals in 34 minutes during Tuesday's 137-118 victory over Toronto.
