“The NBA announced today that Chicago Bulls guard Coby White was named the Kia NBA Player of the Month in the East for games played in March,” the Bulls said in a press release. “White joins Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Derrick Rose, Jimmy Butler and DeMar DeRozan as the only Bulls players to earn the monthly honor.”

He’s evolved into a great player, all the way around,” Bulls coach Billy Donovan said of White, who had another huge scoring night Monday.

In the realm of stellar performances, the Oklahoma City Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Chicago Bulls' Coby White stand out as the Kia NBA Players of the Month for the Western and Eastern Conferences, respectively.

White registered 28 points (10-16 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 5-5 FT), three rebounds, six assists and two steals in 34 minutes during Tuesday's 137-118 victory over Toronto.

Coby White was named Eastern Conference Player of the Month for March. He didn't cool off on the first day of April.

White was limited to 23 minutes Monday and struggled badly against one of the best defensive teams in the NBA, and this seven-point effort signaled the end of his 15-game streak with at least 20 points.

Coby White poured in 28 points, and Talen Horton-Tucker added 27 as the Chicago Bulls secured their place in the Eastern Conference play-in tournament with a 137-118 victory over the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday night.
