Bleacher Report’s two-round mock draft, available at NBA.com, went with Tech’s Williams as the 50th overall pick by New York. Coincidentally Williams’ pro comparison was Kevin McCullar, a former Texas Tech and KU wing who transferred from Tech to KU.
Flagg has been the obvious No. 1 pick all season, but Harrison's decision to trade the 25-year-old Dončić for a 31-year-old Anthony Davis suggested that Dallas was all-in on the present. Had that been the case, Dallas could have offered Flagg for a number of veteran All-Stars, most notably Giannis Antetokounmpo should he become available.
Flagg, who's viewed as the consensus No. 1 overall pick, may be headed to the Dallas Mavericks after the Western Conference team won the lottery with a 1.8% chance. On Tuesday, Flagg was interviewed at the NBA Draft Combine which resulted in a response from Duke.
