New York mayoral candidate Andrew Cuomo (I) on Sunday said his Republican opponent Curtis Sliwa is “a spoiler” for the race, while also slamming Democratic candidate Zohran Mamdani.

New York City mayoral candidates Andrew Cuomo and Republican Curtis Sliwa tried to blunt Democrat Zohran Mamdani’s momentum during a contentious first general election debate Thursday evening.

Cuomo has gained some ground on the democratic socialist since Mayor Eric Adams left the race.
