Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant has paid tribute to Liverpool footballer Diogo Jota, who tragically died in a car accident in northern Spain on July 3. The Portuguese international was 28.

Liverpool soccer star Diogo Jota has died in a car crash in Spain with his younger brother, the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) said.

Jota, the Liverpool forward who in May celebrated winning the Premier League title, has died. He was 28. Police said Jota died along with his brother Andre Silva, also a soccer player, in a car accident near the northwestern city of Zamora, Spain.
