The Tron franchise may not have the cult following of say a Star Wars or even Star Trek, but it does have a decent sized fanbase. And now, they’ll be able to experience an entirely new story as Disney released a new trailer to the upcoming Tron: Ares, and it looks pretty damn interesting.

After years of dormancy, Disney is revving up the engines with Tron: Ares, which marks the beginning of a bold new chapter in the franchise's neon-colored history.

The trailer gave a first look at the new characters and some more high-speed lightcycle action. Although Bridges’ Kevin Flynn is never seen, his voice can be heard at the end of the trailer. As Leto’s Ares is rendered into existence, Flynn tells him, “Ready? Cause there’s no going back.”
