Earlier this month, it was announced that WWE and ESPN reached an agreement for the broadcaster to become the exclusive home of premium live events starting in 2026. The deal reportedly was for a whopping total of $1.625 billion over five years, with an annual value of $325 million.

It’s been a busy few days for WWE, with WWE WrestlePalooza being announced in partnership with ESPN. The news for the North American promotion doesn’t stop with that, as they struck a deal with NBC, as well as confirming when the final WWE match of John Cena will happen.
John Cena's last shot at winning a world championship and wrapping up his career with a perfect ending. Another world title triumph would mean he would be the Superstar with the most title reigns, breaking Ric Flair's championship reigns.
It's easy to assume that John Cena will overcome Brock Lesnar at Wrestlepalooza on the first-ever WWE livestreaming event on ESPN and move on to the next opponent as his retirement tour comes to a close.
