Penn State has some company in a miserable category this week, as the Nittany Lions are no longer the only former top-10 team ranked in the Bottom 25. Florida State is in the same boat after a 20-13 loss at Stanford marked its fourth straight defeat.
Rumors have been swirling about Norvell's fate after Saturday's loss to Stanford. After winning the first three games of the season, FSU has dropped the last four.
The Florida State Seminoles started out with so much promise this college football season, but after a string of four consecutive losses the ACC football program could see its head coach fired for his poor performances following a Week 1 win over Alabama.
But now things are at a scalding temperature. In the early hours of Sunday morning, on the East Coast at least, Florida State lost 20-13 to lowly Stanford, a game the Seminoles were favored to win by 17.5 points.
Several college football coaches, even the Clemson Tigers' Dabo Swinney, are on the chopping block more than halfway through the 2025 season.
