Football365 on MSNChelsea ‘discreet Garnacho offer’ revealed as Blues ‘work to finalise signing’ amid Romano update
According to reports, Chelsea are 'working to finalise the signing' of Manchester United star Alejandro Garnacho amid a 'discreet offer'.
Garnacho reportedly rejected an approach from Bayern Munich, and it’s believed his move to Chelsea is very advanced behind the scenes. All that needs to be agreed is a fee, but Chelsea are said to value Garnacho at £30m, however Mail Sport have reported United are insisting of a total of around £50m.
Ruud van Nistelrooy is another high-profile player who left the club after falling out with Ferguson. The Dutchman was left out of United’s squad for a Premier League match against Charlton in 2006 and subsequently drove home following a training ground bust-up with Cristiano Ronaldo.
Alejandro Garnacho has made it clear that he only wants to play at Chelsea, while the London club works to finalize his signing soon
“Bayern called Garnacho’s camp to understand the situation, and the answer was, ‘Thanks, fantastic club, but I only want to go to Chelsea .’ As I’ve been telling you, as of today he won’t go to any other club.”
However, The Guardian reports that Chelsa are waiting to sell Nkunku before accelerating talks with both of the aforementioned stars. Bayern Munich were previously pushing to strike a deal for the 27-year-old, and they tabled a loan offer with an option to buy last weekend.
