Rescue volunteers say it will take at least two weeks to capture and move about 200 cats from the site of the Happy Cat Sanctuary that burned down in Medford, as well as from the surrounding neighborhood.

An animal sanctuary owner and roughly 100 cats died in a fire on Long Island on Monday, according to officials.
The Suffolk SPCA and other rescue groups were on-site following the Monday fire to help get the remaining cats to safety.
