Indiana looks to snap two-game losing streak while Connecticut hopes to build momentum after breaking their five-game skid earlier this week.

With the loss of those three guards, Indiana signed Odyssey Sims to a 7-day contract. She has since played two games with the Indiana Fever. Before their next matchup, the Fever extended Sims, signing the WNBA guard to her second 7-day contract.

The Indiana Fever travel to Uncasville, Conn. Sunday to face the Connecticut Sun at 1 p.m. ET (10 a.m. PT) on Sunday, Aug. 17 at Mohegan Sun Arena. The game will be broadcast on NBA TV. Until recently, they were among the contenders for a top-four finish. But after two consecutive losses, as well as four of their last five, including one to the Washington Mystics on Friday, Indiana is closer to missing the WNBA playoffs than hosting a first-round series.

Should they continue their losing streak, there’s a good chance they fall to the eighth seed or battle it out with the other contenders for the final playoff spot. For those not in the know, the top eight teams in the WNBA make the playoffs, regardless of conference.
