The U.S. Postal Service (USPS) has unveiled a new Forever stamp paying a homage to former President Jimmy Carter. According to a report by Newsweek, the stamp will be officially released on October 1, 2025, marking what would have been his 101st birthday.

(CNN) - The U.S. Postal Service will honor the late President Jimmy Carter with a new stamp. The postal service’s art director designed the new stamp. It features an image of Carter from a 1982 painting created by Herbert Abrams. Carter died last December at the age of 100.

Rosalynn Carter celebrated with a mural and wreath-laying on her 98th birthday, and a Forever stamp honoring Jimmy Carter was announced.
