Cooper Flagg has looked every bit as good as advertised for the Duke Blue Devils so far, but he is dealing with an issue that seemingly has the team’s coaching staff in some hot water.

Cooper Flagg has impressed in the first two games of his freshman season at Duke. While he has been enjoying lots of game time as a starter in Jon Scheyer's team, he missed a large part of the second half in the Blue Devils' recent game against the Army West Point. The reason for this was his cramping.

Duke basketball coach Jon Scheyer remembers seeing 15-year-old Cooper Flagg at Peach Jam and exactly what stood out.

In the postgame press conference, Scheyer put the blame squarely on the shoulders of himself and Duke’s coaching and support staff. And he seemed like a coach willing to try just about anything to make sure he’s getting the most out of his prized star recruit.
