The Cleveland Guardians offseason award honors is underway. Tuesday evening, Jose Ramirez has named the American League Silver Slugger award winner at third base.It’s the fifth time in his career that Jose has taken home the honor.

Following his latest accolade, Ramirez also puts himself in elite company. Only two other basemen have won more Silver Sluggers than Ramirez during their careers: Wade Boggs (eight) and Mike Schmidt (six), per MLBStats on X.

Red Sox third baseman Rafael Devers and outfielder Jarren Duran were both finalists for AL Silver Slugger awards but neither won. Guardians’ José Ramírez won for AL third basemen. Yankees sluggers Aaron Judge and Juan Soto as well as Orioles’ Anthony Santander were the three AL outfield winners.
