Furious MLB fans think Game 3 of the World Series was “rigged” for the Los Angeles Dodgers following a horrific call by home plate umpire Mark Wegner in the top half of the second inning.

Another fan noticed, however, that the call marked the second time in the postseason that Wegner missed a ball-strike call in the Dodgers' favor. In the seventh inning of Game 4 of the National League Division Series, Wegner called a pitch from Philadelphia Phillies starter Cristopher Sánchez a ball when it appeared to be in the strike zone.
The Dodgers and Blue Jays entered Game 3 of the World Series tied 1-1 after splitting the first two games in Toronto. Dodgers star Freddie Freeman eventually hit a walk-off home run to end an 18-inning battle between the two teams, which matched the longest game in World Series history and gave the Dodgers a 2-1 series lead.
Mark Wegner will be the World Series umpire crew chief for the first time, joined by Jordan Baker, Adam Hamari, Adrian Johnson, Will Little, Alan Porter and John Tumpane for the matchup between the defending champion Dodgers and Blue Jays.
