A jury convicted a Milwaukee judge on one count of felony obstruction Thursday, the Associated Press reported, after she was accused of helping a man who was in the U.S. illegally evade federal immigration authorities.

Prosecutors charged a Milwaukee man with reckless homicide in a shooting they say stemmed from an alleged affair involving the victim and the defendant’s wife.

Schnier also said police obtained footage from Avli Milwaukee, the Brewers Hill restaurant where she works. In it, she is seen drinking six glasses of wine and another alcoholic beverage before leaving the establishment around 8:30 p.m., Schnier testified. The crash was reported to police about 10 minutes later.

"Late last night, while taking one of our Valley Power Plant units offline for routine operations, a valve lifted due to excess pressure, causing a loud noise," a spokesperson told WISN 12 News. "We have isolated the issue. This pressure release did not impact the system, which is working properly. We apologize for the disturbance."
