MILWAUKEE - One person was injured in a shooting in Milwaukee on Friday night, Oct. 17, 2025. According to the Milwaukee Police Department, at about 9:30 p.m., a 37-year-old was shot and taken to the hospital for treatment of non-fatal injuries. Police continue to look for the suspect who fired the shots.
The shooting happened just after 7 p.m. near 39th and Capitol. Police said the victim, a 21-year-old, died at the scene.

21-year-old shot, killed near Milwaukee vape shop
Milwaukee police are searching for the person who shot and killed a 21-year-old man out near a vape shop. The shooting happened around 7 p.m. Thursday near North 39th Street and Capitol Drive. Police say the 21-year-old died at the scene. No arrests have been made. The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's said it was a possible drive-by shooting.

2024 Milwaukee homicide, Menasha man sentenced to prison
A Menasha man was sentenced to prison for a 2024 Milwaukee homicide. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene near 42nd and Florist. Court filings said investigators recovered 27 fired bullet casings at the scene.

17-year-old shot while driving; Milwaukee police search for shooter
A 17-year-old is recovering after being shot while in their car. The shooting happened around 9:30 p.m. Thursday near South 35 Street and West National Avenue, just southeast of American Family Field.
Around 7:45 a.m., the Nebraska State Patrol was told that a man being sought in connection with a homicide investigation out of Milwaukee was traveling through Nebraska.
