Missouri State football won back-to-back FBS games for the first time in program history following the Bears' overtime win over New Mexico State.

New Mexico State fell 30-27 to Liberty on Tuesday, Oct. 14. Fife led New Mexico State with 242 yards on 20-of-37 passing (54.1%) for two touchdowns and no interceptions. Calloway had 84 rushing yards on 18 carries and one touchdown, adding one reception for one yard. Tyler King recorded 68 yards on five catches.

Jacob Clark found Ronnel Johnson in the end zone for a 7-yard touchdown on the first possession of overtime and Dylan Dixson ended the game with an interception to give Missouri State a 24-17 victory over New Mexico State.
