By Andrew Hay MORA, New Mexico (Reuters) -Three muddy torrents rage through Victoria Lovato's northern New Mexico ranch when it rains hard, born of the state's biggest ever wildfire that burned through mountains above her land over three years ago.

Former New Mexico state Sen. Clinton Harden Jr. died Saturday at age 78. Harden, a Republican from Clovis, served as a state senator from 2002 to 2012, representing a stretch of northeastern New Mexico. He also served as state labor secretary under former Gov. Gary Johnson from 1995 to 2003.
