Shilo Sanders’ stint with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers ended Sunday when the team released him, just one day after the former Colorado safety was ejected from the preseason finale against the Buffalo Bills for throwing a punch. Now, as NFL teams look to trim their roster to 53, Sanders’ agents are hoping he will get claimed on waivers.

According to a report from NFL insider Jordan Schultz, Tampa Bay has decided to waive Sanders. He has officially not made the roster and will look to land with another team before the start of the regular season. It's a tough break for Sanders. Unfortunately, he just didn't do enough to make the team.
