The media availability followed the 22-year-old forward’s recent one-year contract extension to stay with the team for the upcoming campaign on a bridge deal.

Nick Robertson ended his stalemate with the Toronto Maple Leafs earlier this week, signing a new one-year, $875,000 with the club.

Even with the new deal in place, some pundits believe Robertson is still likely to be traded out of Toronto before the 2024-25 season begins.
