Nintendo has revealed that it will be delisting a retro game from its Nintendo Switch Online lineup for the first time in the service's history.

The official game page for Super Soccer on the Switch Online Super Nintendo service notes how this title will be removed from this digital game library on 27th March 2025 ( or 28th March, depending on your location ). The title is listed as a Spike Chunsoft-licensed release.

Nintendo Switch Online users are getting a new free game download that will allow free, limited access to one of 2024's biggest games.

Today, Nintendo announced via a post on social media that 1991 SNES football game Super Soccer will be pulled from the Japanese Nintendo Switch Online catalogue in a month's time, on 28th March. No reason was given for the removal.
