India secured an 86-run victory over Bangladesh in the second T20I at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Wednesday, clinching the three-match series 2-0. Rinku Singh and Nitish Kumar Reddy's crucial partnership played a key role in the win.

Following India's win over Bangladesh in the second T20I, batter Rinku Singh said that the ball was gripping the surface initially and was not coming on the bat properly.

Rinku, who has more often than not found himself batting towards the ending stages, was called into action in the sixth over on Wednesday after India were reduced to 41/3 inside the powerplay

Nitish Reddy emerged as India's promising allrounder with a stellar 34-ball 74 and 2/23 in four overs, securing an 86-run win against Bangladesh in the T20I series. Reddy and Rinku Singh's pivotal 108-run stand helped post 221/9.

Openers Sanju Samson and Abhishek Sharma and then skipper and number three Suryakumar Yadav fell before Reddy and Rinku counter-attacked in their century stand.

Suryakumar Yadav-led Team India will look to seal the T20I series against Bangladesh with a win in the second T20I in the three-match series at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi on Wednesday, October 9.

India were near perfect as they recorded their eighth consecutive T20I match win by beating Bangladesh in the first T20I in Gwalior. At no point did Bangladesh look capable of providing India with a challenge as they lost the match by seven wickets.
