Maps show where wildfires continue to burn in North Carolina and South Carolina, including the Table Rock Fire and multiple blazes in Polk County.

Wildfires in the Carolinas have taken over 10,000 acres and more evacuations, according to officials. In the Carolinas, wildfires have set 14,068.9 acres ablaze, according to the South Carolina Forestry Commission and the North Carolina Forest Service. Two of the biggest fires in North Carolina are responsible for at least half of that.

In total, the largest wildfires are burning more than 12,000 acres across the Carolinas — and the fires are likely to grow further without much resistance in the coming days.
