At WIRED, we're big fans of Kindles. It's an excellent solution for bookworms who always want access to tons of books on the go in a compact, lightweight form factor. But they can be expensive. If you've been holding off on buying one, you're in luck, because there are Amazon Prime Day Kindle deals on many of our favorite models.

Thanks to Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days, which runs October 8 and 9, you can save on some of the best Kindles at Amazon right now. Admittedly, Kindle deals during the spooky season Prime Day aren't amazing, but they are deals nonetheless. There are some good deals to be had — the Paperwhite and Scribe offer savings up to 25%, for example.

While a new Kindle is likely imminent, you can still save on current models during Amazon's October Prime Day.
