The user will be able to access the mailbox. Alternatively, you can use the Connect-Mailbox PowerShell command in the Exchange Management Shell (EMS) to connect the mailbox (see the below example).

Once activated, you can view all the fast-travel mailboxes via wing icons on the map, where you can simply select one to fast-travel to it.
