Instagram is further cracking down on what millions of young people can see on the platform, aligning its “Teen Accounts” safety settings with the guidelines for PG-13 movies.
Instagram and other social media sites have long been under fire for exposing children to harmful content and not doing enough to protect kids’ well-being.
Instagram will now be applying PG-13 movie guidelines to its teenage users' accounts by default, Meta announced on Tuesday.
