High reaches 60 degrees Friday in Chicago before temps drop over the weekend
Temperatures at Midway Airport reached 60 degrees, a near record, while 57 degrees was recorded at O'Hare Friday, the National Weather Service said.

National Weather Service officials issued a wind advisory Friday in effect from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. for central and northern Cook County and DuPage County. Officials said winds up to 25 mph are expected with gusts up to 45 mph and cautioned the gust winds could cause power outages and blow around unsecure objects and tree limbs.
