The Indiana Pacers fought back from a 19-point, second-quarter deficit to eliminate the top-seeded Cleveland Cavaliers from the NBA playoffs and reach the Eastern Conference Finals for a second straight year.

The one seed Cleveland Cavaliers seemed rejuvenated after a Game 3 win in Indianapolis behind star Donovan Mitchell’s 43 points on Friday that turned their series with the Pacers in a new direction after losing both games at home to start their Eastern Conference Semifinal matchup down 2-0.

The Cavaliers have been eliminated from the 2024-25 NBA Playoffs after losing 4-1 to the Pacers in their second-round series. After a strong start in Game 5, the Cavaliers built a 19-point lead early in the second quarter.

Tyrese Haliburton scored 31 points, Pascal Siakam added 21 and the Indiana Pacers advanced to the Eastern Conference Finals with a 114-105 victory over Cleveland, eliminating the top-seeded Cavaliers in five games.
