Suspect taken into custody after police chase in Jefferson County
According to Jefferson County authorities, the pursuit ended with in the area of Huntsville Avenue and 48th Street in Brighton after the suspect wrecked their vehicle. Officials say the driver was taken into custody and then taken to UAB Hospital. Authorities say the passenger of the vehicle is still at large.
