The Portland Trail Blazers are mourning the loss of their former radio announcer Brian Wheeler, who passed away after an extended illness.

Former Portland Trail Blazers radio play-by-play announcer Brian Wheeler died Friday morning at the age of 62. Wheeler, known as “Wheels,” was the Blazers’ radio voice from 1998 to 2019.
