The Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 features real-world improvements over the Galaxy Watch 6 that can’t be added through software updates

The study used elite runners to test the Galaxy Watch and found that it was 90% accurate when tracking heart rate compared to electrocardiogram equipment. That’s especially impressive when compared to similar studies done on other wearables, such as a 2018 study that demonstrated a lack of accuracy in Fitbit devices.

The circular displays on the Galaxy Watch 7 and the OnePlus Watch 2 have beautiful OLED panels covered by sapphire crystal glass. While the Watch 7's 40mm version has a smaller 1.3-inch display, the 44mm version houses a 1.5-inch panel. Despite having a larger frame than the 44mm Watch 7, the OnePlus Watch 2 has a smaller 1.43-inch screen.
