Springfield’s 13-plus-one .45 ACP XD may prove to be the most popular offering in the company’s evolutionary polymer pistol line.

Springfield Armory demonstrated its newest compact .45 caliber pistol at SHOT Show 2015.

On the weapon, the new XD Mod. 2 Sub-Compact pistol is updated from its predecessor, the original XD Sub-Compact, with several enhancements for improved concealability, ergonomics and performance.

We are looking at hammered-fired, polymer frame pistol from Springfield Armory in this latest Rifleman Review segment from American Rifleman TV.

The Springfield Armory XD Mod.2 & .45 Sub-Compact training pistol is molded from solid blue polyurethane to differentiate it from a live weapon.
