ST. LOUIS – Crews responded to a warehouse fire overnight Wednesday in north St. Louis. According to the St. Louis Fire Department, the fire happened broke out at an abandoned warehouse around 3 a.m.
The tower technician was lauded by the St. Louis County technical rescue team for saving the barefoot climber.
Investigators say that “very large quantities of natural gas were flowing into the residence for approximately 14 hours prior to the explosion,” but they do not know why.
