Iran says there's been no progress in talks with the U.S. after tit-for-tat strikes, as Hezbollah rejects new Israel-Lebanon ceasefire.

At the White House today, President Trump provided an update on ceasefire negotiations in the Middle East. Trump stated, "It'd be nice if Lebanon could have some peace."

Israel and Lebanon have agreed to renew their fragile ceasefire after days of intensified fighting in southern Lebanon. US President Donald Trump acknowledged calling Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu "crazy" during the crisis but said the two continue to work well together.

The U.S. military reported that it shot down four Iranian one-way attack drones headed toward the Strait of Hormuz overnight Saturday local time, while seven ballistic missiles fired at Kuwait and Bahrain were largely intercepted as well.

As military clashes intensify in the Middle East, the Department of Homeland Security issued a six-month extension.
