The Denver Broncos pulled off a stunning fourth-quarter comeback Sunday, erasing a 19-point deficit to defeat the New York Giants 33-32 on a last-second field goal from Will Lutz. But the celebration was short-lived for linebacker Dre Greenlaw.
Payton failed to name the players apparently in danger of having their snaps reduced. But he did rue several breakdowns — including on defense — against the Giants, in which Denver committed 12 penalties, surrendered nearly 400 yards, and converted only four-of-13 third down opportunities.
The Denver Broncos ' offense struggled through three quarters of Sunday's game against the New York Giants. The Broncos were shut out through 45 minutes and found themselves trailing 19-0 entering the final 15 minutes. Then everything changed in the fourth quarter.
